Requirements:

Three or more years of relevant mechanical engineering experience including exposure to and proficiency in multiple engineering disciplines.

Advanced knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes highly preferred.

Proficiency with 3-D modeling is required (Pro-E strongly preferred, SolidWorks).

Good understanding of design for plastics injection molding and metal components.
-
Adept at problem solving must be proactive and action oriented for timely problem resolution.
-
Superior attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
-
Strong oral and written communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision in a fast-paced, interactive, cross-functional team environment.
-
Exceptional organization, time management and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint desired.
Mechanical Designer
As a Mechanical Engineering, you are responsible for supporting execution on project work involving the implementation of technological solutions related to medical devices. You will develop 3D parts and assembly models using Pro Engineer, will work independently and also with diverse technical groups is essential to this career.

Responsibilities:

Create parts, assembly models and drawings in Pro Engineer.

Create simplified models for FEA analysis.

Work with internal and external suppliers to prototype parts.

Optimization of system performance, reliability and cost.

Proficient in Pro Engineer Wildfire 4.

Demonstrated ability in new product development is required.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to communicate with outside vendors to develop new parts, assemblies, and processes Demonstrated interest and ability in thinking across disciplines and across teams.

Excellent track record of accomplishment of goals and objectives.

Outstanding people skills, with the specific ability to interact with team members.
